The LakeZ 2011 24/25/26 June

We cant charge an entry fee as such, owners stipulation. I am sure we can raise some money over the weekend though for charity.

would be nice:thumbs:
anyway, who is sorting dates etc, it all seems abit up in the air at the moment, i would like some communication so we can realy get the ball rolling on this, i have things to organize from this end, ie shirts, route maps and a letter to a couple of magazines to see if we can get the weekend featured
cheers!;):)

JK240 has had a meeting with the venue and it was very encouraging. We just need a few definate confirmations before he can post the details. Dont worry, there is a lot going on in the background.

come on guys communication please

In hand Steve, see above re: wife....;)

I suspect a lot of planning went into it. It takes in some amazing places but stays away from the worst of the tourist/traffic clogged areas. I am pretty confident it would work very well. Cant wait to give it a try out.

I just took the places from the post by Eddie about the 08 route Steve. Then I googled the various legs.

Basically it takes in the places below and work out at about 190 miles. It doesnt sound far but the first 30 miles could be a bit slower than the rest.

Some links to places being considered for the drive out using another owners club route.

Images of Dunmail Raise, The Lake District

Hartside Pass, Cumbria

High Force Waterfall - North Pennines

Yorkshire Dales Photo Gallery of Attractions and Places to Visit in Swaledale, Arkengarthdale and the Northern Dales and the Tan Hill Inn
