Have had very sad news that ‘Spike’ Anderson of ’Samuri’ Datsun founder has passed away last night in his home in Spain, He was a great friend and a Broadspeed legend with cylinder heads, he gave me a drive in the 240z FFA 196L in the mid 70s and shared it with Win Percy, A love of traditional Jazz he formed a band and was a instant hit on the bars in southern Spain, he will be missed, ❤️

Sad news -

I was just revisiting the post on the old Samuri.eu website - with his update regarding the samuri name :

Quote:
"I would imagine that after reading this you wont be particularly surprised to hear that in the band I have made our signature tune “Please don’t talk about me when I’m Gone”.

I'm sure we will continue to do so , thats what legacies are about . RIP Spike

Had the pleasure of working with Clive & Spike at Silverstone, as a school holiday job, back in the 70's. Fond memories of Spike, Clive & Martin Sharpe's pub at lunchtime. An over used word nowadays, but legend truly applies to Spike & Z cars. RIP Spike
