Have had very sad news that ‘Spike’ Anderson of ’Samuri’ Datsun founder has passed away last night in his home in Spain, He was a great friend and a Broadspeed legend with cylinder heads, he gave me a drive in the 240z FFA 196L in the mid 70s and shared it with Win Percy, A love of traditional Jazz he formed a band and was a instant hit on the bars in southern Spain, he will be missed,

Sad to hear this, he lives on in the very special cars he gave us!

He did so much for our cars in the 70s. All the discussions afterwards are 'noise'.
He left his mark on this earth.

I was just revisiting the post on the old Samuri.eu website - with his update regarding the samuri name :

Had the pleasure of working with Clive & Spike at Silverstone, as a school holiday job, back in the 70's. Fond memories of Spike, Clive & Martin Sharpe's pub at lunchtime. An over used word nowadays, but legend truly applies to Spike & Z cars. RIP Spike
