something strange on insurance sites

I have been looking at quotes for a 280z on go compare and moneysupermarket and when I put the reg in they both find the car but have it listed as a 280c. Anyone else have this?

general cars but no problem when I tried a quote on a 240

Their database only has UK cars.
but I'd suggest go direct to the classic insurance companies like ClassicLine or Footman James.

UK websites might not recognise a 280z given that the model was never marketed here. Try 240/260z but make sure that the changes are fully understood by the insurer. Shouldn't be a problem although I imagine a 280z will have a significantly lower value being import only unless going down the 'agreed' route.

I have always been with Thatchams which have changed their name to Howdens. Always been very easy to deal with and the owner loves 240z's which I think help.
