What a knobhead. Rule #1 - always clear it with the boss! I'm sure you'll have no problem selling it though, it looks a belter especially at that price.

Thats what ( non returnable ) deposits are for .

I sold my S2000 to a guy who travelled to Durham from Cornwall to see it .
He'd asked me to delist it as he was sure he was going to buy it - if it was as advertised. (Of course it was )

He loved the car - and we agreed a price - he then spent 3 hours on the phone and found out he couldnt get insured
He had a long drive home with no car and no deposit .

This happens all the time! I was looking at an RS4 that came back onto the market soon after selling. A young lad had put a deposit down and on picking up day realised he couldn’t insure it! Fortunately it gave me time to see sense and hold on to the current fast wagon (albeit missing two cylinders and slower but a shed load cheaper than the RS to maintain and my kids can treat it like poo without me crying)!

@Fairlineguy - has it’s annoying but you have a LOVELY car there at a fair price that stands out from other cars currently for sale. With Spring coming I’m certain you will soon find another buyer with the right attitude / wallet size.

Keep the faith and move forward.
