Samuri on eBay

Yep - doesn't seem to have put buyers off though....more likely attracting the speculators like SJ and his projects.

He's been bringing cars in for about 10 years..... if you want speculators you should look at some of the new people who don't even take the car off the low loader to get pics.

If it helps in any way re current classic car prices, my insurance company came out and viewed mine, did their research and gave me a guaranteed valuation of £65K. This based on its condition, the current Z market and "samuri thing".

Haven't seen him bring in Zs for ten years.

At least 8 years. Speculators/bandwagon jumping etc, that would only cover the past couple, mainly to those who do not import cars for a living. Professionals will always follow trends, thats not speculating. Regular importers, classic car garages etc who now want to sell them just speculating or just a Business

Are people who are now bringing out new parts for these cars now just specualtors? What about the couple of guys on the datsun europe facebook group, are they specualtors? just trying to make money?

Are those obsessed with 'JDM' parts and names just following a brief trend ?

Sean, well done for ignoring all the points I made above, quite fair wouldn't you say?

Who's obsessed with jdm names? What's that got to do with anything at all we're talking about?

Man who buys a Japanese car, likes Japanese automotive engineering, 2 wheels/4 wheels, hardly a 'trend' is it?

No, not at the minute... I can't seem to bring myself to actually really try and sell my Z, whenever i do consider, I get it out the garage and then I love it again!!

As someone once said to me ' You can't pay too much for a classic, you can just buy it too early ' very philosophical if not entirely true.
