PPC in the Park - that's Mallory Park!

Steve it will be good to see your car out and about again. I've never driven around Mallory but my youngest (David) has so I'll get him to take me round (or sit with me) for a session first.

Yatesy, would like to see you there yes. Can we interest you in becoming a full member?

On this type of event the club will pre-pay to ensure our stand goes ahead. We may also be able to block-book track time. The money will initially come from club funds which are financed by member's subscriptions.

You will save money by the club doing this so some of your subscription will be saved, as with Japfest.

Thanks guys, I'm confident of getting 12 cars now so have left a message with the organisers re 'stand' and track session details (blocks of places I hope).

Here is a taster, some of the pics I took during Tour Britannia's visit to Mallory in Sept 2007 a couple of months before poor Tony Fall died. Here he is in his rally car and the Super Samuri (ex James Morris?) of Derek Hood.

Ok, I've spoken to the organisers (Kate) and we have an area in the Mallory Paddock (hard standing) for 20 Z cars (my request).

I have also said that we would like our members to be allocated to 2 track sessions one mid-morning the other mid-afternoon. This is so we can get out together. I don't think we can command whole sessions to ourselves (like Japfest) but at least we will be on track together. Those like me (with my lads) who want additional track time will fit in-between but we will still get the reduced rate.

Kate is confirming things in an email and I'll commit us to it by reply and request payment up-front from the Club (please Steve B.).

I've also asked for contacts PPC use re insurance whilst on track.

I'll update this Thread in due course and clarify exactly what people require.

Can you add me to the list please Rob, I dont want track time as I will probably poo my pants and cry but will turn up if I can make it (will know nearer the date). ;)
