Ta JK.
Back to Rob's question then!
anyone planning to be around Saturday afternoon?
I'm there on Sunday. I did consider Saturday because of the variety of cars testing and qualifying but I didn't want to get up at 5.30. Jon do we really need it for this event? The weather looks dry, no awards etc. If you are keen then Sunday morning but I expect you will be in your Z.

Thanks @Rob Gaskin I will be in the Z, but I'm also collecting the marquee from JK in the Z - I think it will just about fit. if it doesn't fit, then I'll have to leave it with JK for another week or two until I can get up there again with a bigger car.

I guess it will take the pressure off to not have to set up at Oulton on the Saturday - I'll go to my holiday home in Salford from JKs and then to Oulton on Sunday morning.

I’m not certain, I did send Jon the dimensions and a photo of it all. It might just fit….??
Jon have you got a rear strutbrace, if so that might need to come off. Or even remove your passenger seat? I did that in my 240 to carry some fg doors and front wings (which sugar scoops attached).

yeah the strut brace will definitely have to come out. I think with the passenger seat forward it'll just about fit.

Excellent Jon. Better than me dragging along the knackered old pod shelter I’ve got.

Had the Z out for a runaround this afternoon so that one is okay. Celica is getting an outing for Monday, but looks like I’ll be giving hand signals when making turns - still haven’t fixed the indicators...

Got its plates and new (old) wheels on:

We had a good day today, decent turnout and a good chance to meet some Z friends face to face again. John Hall went very well in his 260Z, Charles Barter retired after an on track incident following a safety car restart with a slower car getting in the way down The Avenue. So many races these days are affected by incidents.
