Already an established rally car, this impressive 240Z was

Ok so it's 2.8, 5 speed, Quaife and has what you need to go rallying. 199bhp at the rear wheels seems optimistic but.....I await the full description, but from what I can see it appears to be a sensible, well built car for 'mild' rallies.
Maybe - it seems to have a straight lever?Looks to me like an S13/14 gearbox too?
It does include fees. I know because I bought it. I'm a newbie here and do a bit of regularity (mild) rallying and this has been bought for London to Lisbon rally next spring. I had a hankering for a Z since I was a kid and bought a 350Z when they were in production but this is the real thing! I had a good poke around underneath at the show and it seems very sound. A long chat with PO who filled me in on some history but was a bit vague about the 'box so I am interested in AliK's comment. Pardon my ignorance but I am guessing tis is from a Silvia ?? Anyway haven't driven it yet as it is still sitting in the NEC.Sold for £31,500, not sure if this includes fees - I think so.
Good buy for someone after a rally car.
Well bought IMO. A friend of mine had someone look for him and was told it was a decent car.It does include fees. I know because I bought it. Clearly states engine power (flywheel) and wheel power : good numbers. The results are in. Rob's thoughts on power appear to be born out but it wouldn't be the first time someone left the "fly" off the wheel when quoting a rolling road result! Finally picking it up from Fourways on Thursday.
