Thanks, those measurements make more sense.Width of big end area is 80mm (more like 80.5 actually, but the battery is low in my digital micrometer, so going off the scale).
Height of the edges, including stud head, 47mm.
Thanks, I have already done this and have been running the engine for years. Just wanted to know if I could drop these rods in without any further grinding of the crankcase.I've been using the maxspeeding rods for 6000km with no issues (L31) . The big end doesn't clear the crankcase, around 0.5-1mm of material has to be removed from the block (main oil gallery cyl 2+3 IRC). After that, you have enough clearance (>1mm).
