Progress report.... I'll do this in pictures

GOING TO HAVE A DAY TAKING PANELS BACK TO BARE METAL, NEVER USED THESE PAINT REMOVAL WHEELS BEFORE, SEEM QUITE GOOD WITHOUT REMOVING ANY METAL

AT THIS RATE IT COULD BE PAINTED BY THE END OF JANUARY :)

Those strip discs are very useful. I bare metalled the NOS fuel tank I fitted earlier this year using them. Took no time at all and leaves the steel surface ready for paint.

Rob, no particular rush but beats doing cam belts and spending my life sorting problems out on modern stuff :( this is easy and satisfying :D

Richie them discs are even better at a slower speed I used one today on a variable power supply

Any one seen one of these electronic ignitions looks a bit factory but

Shiny! Do you have to be careful not to take too much off or is it pretty safe? Looks like fun

Terry, what are you trying to do upset fellow members (incl. Richiep).

Having owned one rusty 240Z (which still gave me immense pleasure for many years) I can understand your joy!

I'm moving on now Rob! :p The condition is fantastic though. Terry, how did you find getting into the corners like that on the door edges with the strip discs? I've only done a fuel tank with mine, which doesn't have particularly tight corners to get into.

I know you are going standard with this but browsing lime green Zs I saw this sexy thing, sporting my air dam of choice and looking nicely snug on its wheels:
