Cheers mate. Shame you aren't doing it, was hoping to see what the mean machine does. It will be there wont it?
As a thought - I know its a parade lap but do people sport helmets for this?
Also with reference to the ferry times, I will be on Dover/Calais at 8 ish (if I remember correctly) with a few BMW's..........
 
She'll be there and you're welcome to have a run in her 'I'll show you mine if you show me yours'' !

Helmets are only worn by old squares.......I'll mention no names.

We had a parade lap - I know I clocked 230kmh and no names claimed he clocked more...........

For info, I've just received the invoice for the money paid in April.....they have all our money now, Peter and the ACO and I have no tickets :

Le Mans have been a tadge busy recenetly with some event or other

Peter have been busy with Tour Auto and I reckon they're understaffed because the clubs' contact can't be and we have no newsletters for clubs !

Anyone turning up before the Friday lunchtime ?
 
You and Lee get priority tickets then - I hope you're still at Stonely Road ?

For the others, it may be a case of meeting up Friday - I hate being at the mercy of organisations.............
 
Ho ho ho ho! It wouldnt be the first time I have messed up something to do with the tinternet . Cant wait now - just need new strutts, new pads, sort the oil cooler.......:eek:...
As for arriving before a set time, well lets just say I need to check your phone number!
By the way - with the question of speeding and the size of the fines , what are the limits? I mean at what point does a 90 euro fine become a 750 euro fine? It seems that there were a lot given out to those going to the main event, no surprises that people were deserving of it though.........

Don't speed in a 50 or 30 zone ! Be aware that the cops are not stupid and have seen it all before and know where to catch you and where the stupid zones are - those that go suddenly from 90 or 110 on a dual carraigeway to 70 !

Slow down before any toll booths (I mean 5ms before), service access' are great places for mobile cameras to sit and wait, cops like bridges and also rest and service areas but basically, why not enjoy the scenery, take some B roads where you're less likely to be pounced upon and they're less boring than M-ways ?

We are on the 10:20 train which is the one before your's not sure why I did that, think I miss read it weeks ago:confused: I can change it to yours for no charge if we are doing the convoy thing but I thought to meet you guy's at Junction 11 M20 services if your going that way otherwise I can meet you at the tunnel or on the otherside? How many cars are in your group?

Sean any news on this, is it just the entrance tickets or is it the whole deal camping etc?

If you don't mind changing your time, then we might as well meet up at the M20 services as you suggest - that way, if we are late (or early) for the train we'll stay as a group.

We are down to 2 cars plus you.

Which car are you in, silver or white ??

Ok all changed now I am going to aim for 9:30 at J11 services and fill up with V power and a coffee etc So we can meet you at the Shell garge if that suits? Think I will be taking the white car.. my mobile is 07771 685851
 
They've gone out !

Track time is Saturday morning at 10:15 which doesn't mean turning up at 10:14......but 09:30 at the very, very latest 'cos they line up several slots in advance !
Go easy on the sauce the Friday night 'cos you'll be up early !
