Hope they are not checking registrations ? I may be in a different car ( same 240Z model ) than reg. booked under and won't be happy if some jobsworth tells me I'm not allowed in

Hot off the press regarding tickets for the event. If you are selling/bringing another car, please get in contact with Japfest first.

"They are ‘e tickets’ and they will be emailed to you by the end of the week, together with vehicle passes, a site map showing where your club will be located and other general information. Once you’ve received them you will need to print them off."

Nothing here so far. They leave it late, that's for sure. While I'm on the thread, there are some bits and bobs I'm on the look out for, and maybe one or two of you in attendance might be able to furnish me with any of them for an agreeable sum ...

- a handbrake gaiter
- 1x chrome-effect end cap off a passenger door grab handle
- 1x black screwbolt with nut off the rear license plate light
- plastic rail that runs along the deck riser
- choke lever assembly and black lever

I have just spoken to them as well and had a strange sort of conversation with a women there who said that she would ring the club rep and let him have the clubs pass code to give to people who had not received email tickets so they could turn up at the gate with their a copy of the order that was sent to them when they paid originally
And guess what I have just been sent by email
No not 3 e-tickets but another copy of the original receipt of payment
I know of at least 5 on the Z Club who have recieved diddly squat e-ticket wise from them
Is there any chance that there is a pass code been sent out for use on the gate with our original order
I am going to print of my order and have it ready to take with me if the e-tickets don't arrive as promised

CLUB TICKET & PASS UPDATE:
We're aware there's been an issue with the tickets and passes over the weekend. We're really sorry for any inconvenience caused and have been working hard to fix our new system and get correct passes out to you.

You should now have received a fresh email containing your tickets.If you have NOT received this, please get in touch with our team on 01959 541444 or email Japfest@kelsey.co.uk.

The tickets and passes can only be downloaded once, so if you need them resent please let us know and we will resend the link for you. Again we apologize for any inconvenience.

Thanks for your patience and rest assured that all club tickets and passes that have been booked have been issued and are valid.

Yes
The system used to be the clubs got the tickets in advance and then sold the tickets on and when the club organiser received the ticks and passes etc they would then post them out to the members who had purchased them through the club
The new system is that each person purchases stuff direct and then the tickets passes etc is sent out as an e-ticket to print off them selves
In theory it should take all most of the work and pressure of the club organiser when the system works properly

Frigging E-tickets!!! what a stupid bloody idea!!!!! Whoever thought of that should be shot!
I phoned up this morning and they said track time tickets will be sent out Thursday, a bit late in the day that ain't it! Club tickets will be sent out over the next few days. This is according to the woman @ Kelsey.
My car isn't going to be ready in time So if anyone wants my club pass let me know.
I'll be showing up on foot Well in my Audi Quattro which I'll be hiding in the car park

And again I say shoot the idiot who came up with the idea of E-tickets

I'm happy to say I have my tickets for Donington and they are proper tickets and they arrived in plenty of time

Once you have managed to get through the gate with your e-ticket/pass our plot is located at T4 and accessed through the T entrance that is just by the tunnel by Copse Corner

In the old F1 days that would have been a prime spot for the teams. It's a decent central position.

So once in the main gate we will have to turn left i.e. not over any bridges.

No e-ticket/pass here either. This would seem to be widespread, looking around the net.

I'll give it another 24 hours then call them as suggested on their Facebook page.

Total cock-up IMO. Not a great way for this new organisation to start their stewardship of Japfest.

I also haven't had any tickets yet but emailed them this morning. Can people please post when you receive so we know when they haven't started issuing them so stragglers can get on the case if they still haven't got them, cheers!

I've just emailed them too. To add further insult, I discovered I haven't got the receipt for the original order either, although it definitely did go through as my credit card statement attests. So, currently I have no tickets and no receipt to act as backup.

Suddenly, despite its remoteness and the way we used to lambaste various aspects of it, Castle Combe is looking a lot better organized...
