Guess it looks like I won't be on the stand then. Never mind, there's always public parking.

what happened there then John?? theres going to be 20 early Zs there i'm sure we could shuffle up a few inches each to fit you in ???

Hope I can make it and that the weather is good, really don't want to have to run mine in the wet, would take me ages to get it clean underneath again.

Looks like I'll probably not be on the Club stand, my car was selected for the top 20 show & shine paddock area so I'll most likely display there.

Perhaps this will mean someone can take my place on the club stand if there is still someone who didn't get on?





Does anyone know somewhere nearby where I could wash my car, all I really need actually is somewhere with a decent hose (ideally not a pressure washer)

I wouldn't mind your space Ian. Public parking is a bit of a walk and track time parking is just a dust bowl.

Any problems with the stand passes or if you are wanting to transfer them to a new owner please contact Sue Loy on 01959 543547. I believe the stand passes will have your Reg on them when posted out but I might be wrong!

They phoned me up today to explain the same thing to me. I'd already spotted the error when I tried to purchase track time some while back.

Find it really strange if you check on the attached listing from Japfest on post number 118 both you and Jake are notified as having track time
First check that should be made is what does your paypal account show when you booked them and did you get an email confirming payment from them

Just looked at my e-mails from them and the packs were going to be sent out NO later than 2 weeks from the event date, well that was a day ago :confused:

I got the same email re: track time not booked.

Have you guys got your track time sorted out? - I emailed Jessica back and she said it was a mistake and that it was indeed booked.

Just spoke to them again and been told that they have now sent out email to smiley confirming that he does have tracktime and the previous one was sent out by mistake
I have also just beenn told that the tickets and session passes WILL BE SENT BY EMAIL for printing at home and the person who told me yesterday that they were being posted by mail was incorrect
ALSO ANY ONE WITH TRACK TIME NEEDS TO BRING THE PAPER PART OF THEIR LICENCE WITH THEM if you have lost yours please contact DVLA asap to get a copy

Hey Steve I only have a paper licence - always have had and it's valid for another 7 years!

Spoke to Sue who was a total waist of space and just kept repeating that if I go onto the website I can read about the ticket I've booked and it won't allow me on the club stand. She insisted that that was it and there was no way it could be changed. Because I didn't get the name on the person I spoke to weeks ago, there was nothing they could do. The stand passes have registration numbers on them so cant be changed.

maybe she could be a bit more helpful

On the day are they seriously going to check hundreds of cars against the paperwork?

If your car 'looks the part' then surely you'll just be waved in?

John your are made of 'blagging material' - I bet you end up on the stand.
