JAE new date and venue

Come on now guys lets show some support here
Don't think you will be on your own there as there are 5/6 joint club members who have their names down on the current list, some of you are on the doorstep so distance is not an issue
The 300 guys will welcome you with open arms and with what they have planned you will have a blast

Had a call from a "not on line" Z Club member who will be attending Saturday - 280ZX I think...he wanted to check tides!

I still think that the Peterborough show was bigger, & you are straight out onto the A1, & it is more central, & you are not waiting for the tide to go down before you can leave, & it could have been better signposted instead of just at the last junction as we don't all have sat-navs. .....So roll on Peterborough.
 
Horrible place no atmosphere bland and not family friendly
Billing has its faults but next to Peterborough its like heaven

Peter-bog-horror was sh1t, it was a vast open souless field with no atmosphere and is statisticaly the wettest part of the country!

The only thing that should "roll on peterborogh" is a large rock.

Mersea was awesome and I will make that journey again and again to have as good a weekend:thumbs:
 
Mersea was fantastic, and worth every mile of the extra drive. it's more like a Holiday venue, so not only is it a great car show, it's right on the beach. it also has an outdoor swimming pool etc. I did alot of Admin runs to West Mersea (the local town) and it had everything you need Tesco Express/Somerfield/Shell Garage/cash machines etc, and the locals were very friendly.

Roll on Next year. :bow:

Didn't seem like it to me. :( Or perhaps they were just less spread out.

And as for the beach - truly beautiful

Everwhere was wet last year.
I didn't go last year but went in 05 & 06 & it was a better place & nearer to everyone.
I only saw 1 Z at Mersea & that was Martin, that has to tell you something ??????
As for Steve Burns saying it has no atmosphere, they are ALL only a field when all's said & done, It's the organisers who make it what it is so it should have the same atmosphere where ever it is, That little road can't cope with all that traffic that was trying to leave, at least Peterborough is by the A1 & Billing is by the A45.
