I'm surprised at this. The bidding looked to be going really well and he removes it after just 1 day then realists it for classified add.
 
Just had a look . Said the item started at £99 not 99p and the auction has ended because it is no longer available?
 
Just an update peeps.....

Fleabay isn't a good place of late..... Selling an item is one thing, getting paid is completely another & experience has proven that when placing a high value (£500+) item it tends to attract dreamers & potless wannabes, so.... I (&others find) that by 1st placing an auction style ad it attracts all of the above along with a "few" genuine buyers.....

Once the advert has created the interest I remove the ad ( for a mere £10 it's done the job ) then re-list BUT on a Classified advert.....

This does several things.....

Tells all the people realistically what you are hoping to realise for the item.....

The genuine people will enquire, ask, negotiate, ask for more info, photos etc (which has happened), the muppets will clear off !

Simples !

As we all know in the buying & selling vehicles of all Marques, prices & conditions, the advert will ALWAYS attract muppets, keyboard warriors, dreamers & potless idiots...... It's a sad fact of life these days..... The powers of the inter web & social media.....

So far I have " trade " offers of circa £5k which whilst isn't insulting I think a little more is achievable.....

We'll see....
