Hello Grolls

perfect

I have found the kit

I am interested in this kit for the tube especially; your fitting looks nice.

What is the diameter of the tube? is it the 3" one?
:conf2:

Did you modify the hole in the body?

thanks

Dont forget mines a late 260 so no air intake via rad pannel although the hole is there. No holes cut out and yes it was the 3 inch bore.

you might want to modify the carbon air box before fitting as they do catch the shock tower,i trimed about 3-5mm off my base section and bit of the top section so that it clears the shock tower

First step is achieved

Organe_015.jpg

Finally, after looking to all different solutions, I have selected a 90mm (3.5") black silicon hose + a K&N RC-5165

I will go through the lower hole of the rad panel... after enlargement to 100mm

"All black" outlooks should be fine!

For the moment, I have in mind to keep the box black (as the engine head cover) but perhaps in the same colour as the body would look great.

This looks like something i should be doing to my Z, i currently have no filters (not really a problem as it has no brakes so it's not going anywhere).

How does this attach to the carbs, is there some sort of backing plate?

i guess i then run some samco hose or similar through the hole next to the rad and stick a filter on the end.

Cheers
Nick

I am not the most experienced in airbox here on this topic:rolleyes: I had the box 2 weeks ago!

There is a back plate that I fixed this WE

Then trumpets have to be set up (not shown here)

For the hose, you are right; there are several solution exposed in this post.
