Dumb not to buy direct from Japan then.As shown, the states!? Uk importers etc etc
A full fujitsubo? You know that already!
The "middlemen" you mentioned. Where are they?
You appear to be surprised that a Japanese product, made in a Japanese factory by properly paid Japanese staff, complying with Japanese industry standards and licensed for fitment under Japanese construction and use laws, costs 'X' amount.
For a Japanese customer, based in Japan, it makes a lot of sense. You won't see many S30-series Zs in Japan running imported exhaust systems.
Dumb not to buy direct from Japan then.
No, I don't....or I wouldn't have asked. Besides, with so many dealers and then prices can change - look the RHD site where there is a current saving of Y29,826 :
https://www.rhdjapan.com/fujitsubo-legalis-r-exhaust-muffler-s30-gs30-hs30-hs30h.html
Where are they ? RHD for one, Nengun for another but you're ignori,ng my second point so I'll spell it out and why I asked what a FULL line and muffler costs :
I'm very surprised to see ONLY the rear muffler offered at £526 that no-one contradicted me when I'm sure I've seen the complete line for just over £750 !
https://www.rhdjapan.com/fujitsubo-...fler-rear-piece-only-s30-gs30-hs30-hs30h.html
https://www.rhdjapan.com/fujitsubo-...fler-rear-piece-only-s30-gs30-hs30-hs30h.html
Both quote only the muffler except one comes with all the mounting kit and gasket
Here, the line isn't listed seperately but when one takes the combined manifold+line price and deducts the quoted manifold-only price, one arrives for the line at Y123225 / £853
If you good chaps can find it for sale in Japan for less, share it or admit that the middle men take their share between Fujitsubo and their clients !
Going back to the muffler price : line+muffler = £853 - £526 = £327 for the twin line - really ?
I'm certainly not surprised that a quality part made in Japan by Japanese and after all their engineering investment costs.....but I still remain surprised by the cost of the muffler only.....unless I'm missing something in which case, please enlighten me.

I'm not sure what you're getting at though? Why do you always seem to be having a dig at the Japanese manufacturers?
You say you're "...not surprised that a quality part made in Japan..." looks relatively expensive when you convert a Japanese retail price into GBP (you mention shipping and duty too) but you don't seem to be taking into account that it doesn't necessarily look like that to a Japanese customer.
You're in the business of making and selling exhausts, of course. If you think the Japanese customers are paying too much for Japanese-made products, perhaps you might like to take a shot at selling your wares in Japan?
Why do YOU believe I'm always having a pop at the Japanese exhaust manufacturers - I'm not, never have done nor will do and I've repeated that so many times I'm now bored with your persistent obtuse, blinkered stuck in the groove standard response.

Thanks Pete, so Fujitsubo and not Trust, hence my confusion.
That £526 is NOT the muffler only price - it’s the full exhaust system. The rear back box section only is £374 via RHDJapan.
I know because I bought my Fujitsubo from RHD; back then, they didnt list the all in one price. TBH, not sure what they are playing at with that full kit price, as it is cheaper to buy the manifold and system separately. RHD are not immune to errors though...
So good I posted it thrice! It's a pujitsubo exhaust. Planning on getting this made with the help of a TIG welder (person not machine).what are we looking at @Pete?
Don't know what the bolded bit means? I doubt it'll be much cheaper or even cheaper! Do you have details of the 'sports option'?They’re designed for an r180 diff so I wouldn’t comment on an r200.
as above for a mass produced exhaust, quality/form/function are miles ahead of anything upto that price bracket. Well worth it when you compare it side by side against others.
pete, who are you siding for your copy? Much of a saving over buying the original? You could make it better and follow the sports option twin pipe route?
