Sorry, I want to go, Boomer wants to go and so does Symon ! I don't know where I'll be (I mean if I'm in Europe) and if I can't go in my Z, I'm not interested ! So, too many questions and it means I'll be a late booker. If I'm too late, tough on me !
Also, like Ben, I may have a little trouble passing the noise test !
Guus, it wasn't exactly clear in our last exchange if we could drive on the circuit as if it was a circuit and not just on a slalom - can you confirm or deny the ability to 'track' it ?
No booking from Steve Lack either then ?

If you have a noise problem don't worry, it is like you said "for the people but above all for the fun"! ;) You drive all the way through France, many times to the UK, visit Simon in Spain, race in Barcelona and you would not come to Holland..........

This is a part of the description what you 'translated' for me (???):
The skill training components which we will do are a.o.: brake techniques, turning technique in combination with drive free, tilt simulator, antiskid training, slalom and Y exercise. These instructions are given by the Advanced Driving School (ADS).

How on earth could you forget? to much on you mind

Yes Guus but I WAS IN HOLLAND IN NOVEMBER AND YOU WERE TOO BUSY TO SEE ME !

I haven't driven my Z since 1996 ! And then it was to leave your country ;-)

I and others will want to know if we can drive freely around the circuit, and not just with instruction SO ?

You may have a formula for quietening your exhaust - I don't and if I drive all the way up there to be refused circuit entrance !!!!!!!!!!!

i will also be a late booker, if work permits me to attend
i unlike the others know how good this event you put on is and if i can attend i will , not only for the track but to see all of you dutch friends,i had so much fun last time

sean whats the point of you stating that i havent booked up yet if your not prepared to commit, why dont you go in your 300zx if your zeds not ready??????

i'll let you know as soon as i do

guus :i am very dissapointed in my club members lack of interest , i hope it picks up very soon

questions

At least I don't fill up my signature with 'non-Zs ! Go out and buy another and stop this listing of foreign material ! Think I'll list my mountain bike !

The thing is Steve, AS I EXPLAINED, I don't know if I'll be in Europe at that time, or if I am, if I'll be working or unemployed. Besides that, I'm like Boomer, I have a family to respect. I may come in the 300, I may come in my 240 and Cathy in the 300 - who knows yet ! I have a lot of Z committments this year ;-)

guus i am trying very hard to come over for the meet but unfortuneatly it will be a little while before i can commit as my shift is changing at work and I will have to try to get someone to cover for me. I wish that i could be more certain. Do not be too despondant about the lack of response from the uk, i am sure that it will pick up. cheers ben

Mr Lack,

I have 5 japanese cars and a 6th for sale in my garage. The work Fiat (road blaster)won't last long as I leave, that leaves the Audi and the Renault (Nissan now ?) !
I can't get Cathy to part with the Audi - I apologise, but in time I'd like to replace the R25 with a Lexus - would that do ? Besdies that I do hope to augment the Z population in Europe - 1st clean 260 2 seater from the states sold yesterday for 5500 pounds ;-)

Moggy,

I presume you are come from up north >Hull<….?
Rotterdam and Hoek of Holland are the closest ports to Assen..
The RAC route planner says Total distance: 139.1 miles (223.9 km )
Total estimated time: 2 hours and 27 min

http://rp.rac.co.uk/routeplanner

Earlier I mailed the documents, with a large description, to this thread; you can find them in replay number 17 of this thread!!!
You could camp (very nice place) or book a motel/hotel it is all there… have a look at the description and if you have any questions left, shoot!

Like to rattle this thread once again. The committee hasn’t received any registration of UK members.
So please tell me what’s the problem? ‘You’ always liked our festivities??? Where did it go wrong

Hi guus. My car is just in the final stages of the rebuild following last years accident, I was hoping to have had it finished in time to come over and enjoy your hospitality but the rebuild has developed into rather a major project. Sorry to have to miss the event but wish you all the best with it. regards ben

answer to your question Mr Lack,i did intend going in my 260z,but due to the fact it has been away for 6 months and only had a few days work done to it in that time i have not been able to commit myself to book a ferry,i might get it back this year if im lucky, ive let the origanal guy that was gonner paint it down 3 times, makes me look like a messer when i know different,so ive had wot i was gonner have done up here done down there,so it looks like i will not be going,in other words, one holiday totally f*****d up

guus , i too cant understand why other club members wont commit , some of them have 2 or more cars , there is no reason for them not too , so please dont take it personally
question if my exhaust noise is 105dls with the sensor at the back of the car do you knoe if at track side this will be below the requested spec?
as i said previously , im still unsure if i can attend due to not being able to take time of work
i will let you know asap

cheers
vis vientje
i would luv to come , and if i can it will be at the very last minute
