Due to the sprint we were going to being cancelled I shall be hauling the car up there to re-unite it with Fourways after 40 years.
Hi Ben , I shall try and pop along , be good to finally meet up , I’ll dig out photos I have and I also have somewhere a email my brother was sent from the guy dad sold the car to back in 1983.

Although I won't actually be there for this, the 240 is with Fourways right now and will be for the next week or so. Does that count as attending if it's already there? The car is far better looking than me anyway ;) Looking forward to seeing plenty of pictures

Looking at the cars I'm guessing Paul Wrangle (260) was there and maybe Dean Halsey (green 240)?

Yes, it was great to meet people and have the first chance in a long time to have a close look at a bunch of cars in close proximity to each other . It's so helpful to see different cars in the flesh to be able to help figure out what setups I really do like and why that is. It wasn't all Z goodness that was enjoyable though as there were other nice things to look and one highlight for me was a 1967 Honda S800 Coupe that someone bought along which was fabulous. Need to add that to my want list!

Big thanks to Fourways for setting this up and being so welcoming and open. I hope it provides some business for them.

It was a very small field. Only 14 cars I think. Just 1 retirement and he led the race by a massive margin in a tr6. Second place (lotus 7) was on average 2seconds a lap slower. Dean should have finished second but due to missing the pit window he was knocked down to 3rd. 2nd went to an elan.

I see Fourways are having another event like this. It's the 18th September (09:30 to 12:30) and open to all classics.
