TRUMPED UP!!?? How very DARE You!
Post No 30 - late posting of competition data - 5 point penalty!!:p

What a load of Tosh

I have abided by the latest editions of the rules covering the extension of the predication date to 27th March for round one as per post 22 and appeal against the penalty of 5 points as this is unjust

As alleged penalty hase been broached by yourself as the alleged impartial (impartial PAH) adjudicator and points keeper I would like in fairness to point out some other offences

If the rule extending the predications are not to be allowed for me I must insist

1/ The following participants should have a penalty levied against them for also being late
Steve-300ZX
Arkwright
Zulley
Dav350Z
Madmarco

They should all lose 5 points as well

2/ Late editing of prediction posts
Legrath
Z-Hunter

they should lose 5 points as well

2/ Non compliance of predicting the naming of the winning manucturer and points total for the 4th placed driver
Rob Gaskin
Dale
Grolls
Woozer
Legrath
Madmarco

As there are 2 offences here they should all be docked 10 points

3/ Late editing of prediction posts
legrath
Z-Hunter

These should lose 5 points as well

In summary If the ruling of post 22 does not stand these participents should be penalised a dection of points

Steve Burns -5 points
Steve-300ZX -5points
Arkwright -5points
Zulley -5points
Dav350Z -5points
Madmarco -15points
Rob Gaskin -10 points
Dale -10 points
Grolls -10 points
Woozer -10 points
Legrath -15 points
Madmarco -10 points

I await your decision on this with baited breath and though I am sure you will levy the points deductions as this would give you a flying start to your efforts to use every means available to you to gain an unfair advantage over me (impartial adjudicator PAH again)

I would also like to point out that for myself it is the taking part that is important and not using every means at your disposal to win:rolleyes:

To all the new people taking part for the first time please note this is a friendly little compertition and no one takes it to serious ( and If you believe that you are being conned )

Steve! I am so pleased to see that your spirit is still alive and well and living in the F1 competition. That and you are so easy to wind up even before the action has started.

Sean who??

Just to allay any fears there will be no penalty point deductions that I can see for this frst round, but I will be applying the strict letter of the law for the remaining weeks - so beware!! :smash:

I hope your blood pressure will swiftly return to normal - whatever that might be - and we all enjoy the action at 6am tomorrow! :driving:

LOL silly old fart. Just think how much time you wasted preparing your appeal and dropping all us innocent participants in the stinky poo. Serves you right :p

What a breath of fresh air for F1 with Brawn dominating qualifying. Lets hope the diffuser issue brings no more disputes/bad press.

Honda seem to have developed a fantastic car last year and Ross Brawn has made the very best of the situation. Great for Button too.

It reminds me a bit of my hero James Hunt and the Hesketh Team whIch I followed in the 70s. An underdog out-performing the big guns (yes I know it's only qualifying so far).

Lots of things for the press to focus on too, so it's good for the sport.

I'll look forward to the race tomorrow :driving:.

I think Steve is right and that all of the above should be docked the points. That puts me in front already. Oh yes indeedy!

Rob, it was nice to see the 'little guy' getting the cars up to speed in the qualifying. Lewie was crap. We shall see. The thought of the shake up of rules seems to be troubling some of the big players so we could see something actually interesting this year. Hopefully they won't be penalising overtaking or braking this year.

Congrats to Button. He did well, although he did have the quickest car of the weekend.
Still reckon the performance of the weekend was Lewis Hamilton's 4th place. He didn't put a foot wrong and deserved the points.

Ref: Post Nos 49 & 50 I have been asked to reconsider admitting Dunk300zxTT to the competition.
Having considered this request I am willing to do so, but as his forecast was not published until after Qually, I propose to enter Dunk at 6 points - i.e. equal with the lowest score gained. :smash:
If anyone has a strong objection to this please let me know by PM or e-mail by midnight tonight, otherwise I will make the adjustments as stated.

Go for it. As it seems the title race could be between a large portion of the field now, I can't see anyone as having an advantage.

Hi RSJ,

Thanks for that, I didn't really expect to be included because of my late entry but anything is better than nothing :D
