Have you heard anything about parade laps this year Rob?

Join the parade!

We look forward to welcoming you and your display car to this year's Donington Historic Festival on 29 & 30 April. We are pleased to announce that bookings are now open for the lunchtime parade laps. These cost £12 per car and must be booked online in advance.

Space is strictly limited, and the parades do sell out quickly, so don't delay if you want to take your car round Donington Park!

I don't intend to block-book for a Z Club parade this year.

It was a disaster when we did that (and we got a full refund):

Dear Club Organiser

We're looking forward to welcoming your club and its members to Donington Park on 29/30 April. The final number of cars you have booked onto your club stand is as follows:
Saturday 29 April: 31
Sunday
30 April: 16

So guys thanks for booking, numbers look healthy.

Saturday is usually our busiest but for people attending on Sunday you have a better chance of winning an award!

There are two awards per day, 'Best Car of the Day' and 'Highly Commended'.

Please note (as last year), Jon and I (plus other members of the Committee) in attendance will decide why a car is 'Best' or 'Highly Commended' and explain the reasoning when the awards are presented. Other methods for deciding winners have been tried in the past but they have proven too onerous and time consuming. Bribery will not be tolerated however we will listen to explanations of why you think your car deserves to be a winner - or even why you think someone else's car deserves to be a winner.

Hi Rob, don't forget the "Best other marque at show, but still a Datsun owner award" please.

Hi all, all parade laps for Saturday have gone😥must be quicker next time, sold out in a couple of hours of notification 😤
See you all Saturday 😁

What time is best to turn up?
As early as you can. I'll be there from 8.30-9.00. You are Saturday I think, if so some help with the tent would be appreciated.

If you get there early it gives you time to see other Clubs and also racing before the rest of the members turn up.

No but I have asked.

I know we enter near the Esses Tunnel like last year and I think we will be in the same area.

We are not on the GP Loop.
Where were you last year? I was watching the BTCC at Donny earlier today and the infield looked very muddy with those awful infield tracks looking very wet & lots of puddles. Just hope it dries out a bit although with the rain forecast this week its not looking hopeful.

Yes, we are virtually where we were last year. IMO that's ok.

The main group of Mustangs are on the 'loop' so we won't have to hear them revving their engines all day.

We very much look forward to welcoming you and your display vehicle to Donington Park this weekend. The map above shows the locations of the various club stands in the Infield - just click on it to download it as a PDF.

Entry for display vehicles with stand numbers from A - J is via the Esses Tunnel gate. Please follow signs to the main entrance of the venue and follow the signage labelled A - J, which will take you to the Infield.

Entry for all display vehicles labelled L (Ferrari Owners Club, Simply Mustangs UK and all non-club Pre 2000 display pass holders) is via the main gate. Please use the main entrance of the venue and follow the signage, as you are parking on the Melbourne Hairpin, which is accessed through the Paddock. NB this isn't shown on the map above, but everyone coming in through the main gate and displaying 'L' parking passes will be directed to where they need to be.

Acccess on Saturday and Sunday is from 7.30am-10am, and exit is from 4pm onwards.

Please remember to print out your parking pass and display it in your windscreen. Parking passes were generated by MSV last Tuesday (18 April) so you may need to log back into your MSV account to print it out, if you received your original entry tickets by post or printed out your original entry tickets before 18 April.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me. We hope you have a fantastic time at Donington Park this weekend!

With best wishes,
Karen
