Jez, what you're getting now from JC etc is what we got in the early nineties from the press via Zs ! It's the nostalgic post-mortem of cars that have attained their 20 years old + and the inevitable general hesitancy to accept cars that have reached the said age into the folds of classic cars ! Oh,oh, have I shot myself in the foot here ?
What do you have to do to get over it ? Push for articles on various cars in various states of tune and comparisons against like cars of the same period. The second hand price now isn't important, what is, is the all-round performance of each ZX (2 seater and 2+2, NA and turbo-ed) against their contempories !
Where's the pressure from the frustrated ZX owners on the press and the help to create articles for the press officer to send in the hope of promoting specifically the ZXs !
It does seem that their has been a jump from the Zs to the Z32s and their current tuning craze ! The 280s and Z31s appear to have been left like Cinderella (unjustly) !
