and then there was 3

Spoke to the guy I bought the car from and he says there's 20 or so spare doors in his yard and he can include 2 in the car. Problem is, the shippers wont allow anything to be shipped in the vehicle.

Might be worth having him bolt them on then?

Just got confirmation from the shipper that it will be OK to put the doors inside and just ship as part of the car. Happy days.

Not sure on the wheels but I'm a lover of those too. In fact, I like a lot about the car. Once its back to its original colour, with a sprinkle of fairy dust, It will make a nice driveable car for not a lot of money.

Well that's just devalued your pending stock arrival

But I think you'll be surprised ;) ;)

sure there all going to be 10k and a big + when you wave your magic wand :D

Those are identical to the wheels on my car, would love to know what they are.

Looking through the 300 odd resto photos that came with the car, mine used to be gold in the middle.

Good lord - another? My previous comment stands. Carry on like this, and there won't be any project cars left for anyone else!!!

I just couldn't resist it.

One owner, low milage, original paint, sat in a dry barn for a long long time. Very solid untouched car and at the right money. How could I say no?

Just needs some grammar corrected - should always have read "....and then there were 3" which fits today too since it's in the past tense.

That does look like an easy project. Apart from the steering wheel on the wrong side.
Surprised to see flat top carbs on a 73 car - is that original?

Where are you keeping them all John? show us your Aladdin's cave!
