Sorry, I ,missed out mathematics bit. Go on, give us maths conundrum for us to solve, like the aeroplane on the conveyor thing(that's an engineering one), but something like that, I like them.

I work beside a guy that does all that bodybuilding stuff. He came into work one day with what I thought was a 5 litre pail of paint. "Doing some painting today?" " What? No that's my lunch"!

Easy peasy one for you guys lol!!

A dragon lives in a cave, and doubles in size every day.
After 30 days it fills the cave, so how many days old is the dragon when the cave is half full?

Enough about dragons!

The only dragon we should be talking about is my Copper Metallic Z!

Or the one in my trousers!!!

So you are hoping to get your car done for christmas that would be amazing if you could ,but i do doubt it:unsure: as it took me just over 2 years to do my 280zx although your shell could well be better than mine was  you will have to get a move on stripping your car to meet your target will be interested to see it all stripped ,lot more interesting than shiny new parts at this stage of your restoration i want to see work done :D what colour are you thinking of ,keep putting pics up we all like pics  best of luck with you project ;)

Ps why do you think your z will be the best in the UK when done, what will make it so special
compared to others out there ?

Derrick:)

Anyone had any personal experience with fibreglass front wings?

Was thinking about getting some for ease of replacement from honeybourne mouldings...

Have you noticed that the people who are stroking your ego haven't answered this question? I'll let you into a secret. It's because - secretly - they want you to crash and burn.

Here's a rhetorical question for you; Exactly how do you think fibreglass front wings will compare with OEM steel wings in terms of "ease of replacement"? Don't spend too long thinking about it. There is no comparison.

So after having ripped a reported couple of hundred kilos of bad fibreglass from your project, you are now talking about bolting (after you've drilled a lot of holes and worked out how to work around the lack of captive nuts in Honeybourne's product), bad fibreglass back onto it.

Way to go
, champ....

I see you point there sir, and thankyou very much for dissuading me from the fibreglass wings....

It was only a thought anyway...

My front wings are really not that bad apart from having extra sections welded to the insides of them to extend and flare the arch, and then rust holes here and there....

Nothing that is not fixable, but I merely wanted an opinion, which I will now be acting on repairing my own oem front wings.

Also I do not think it is fair to accuse people, as for the most part everyone on here is quite friendly and helpful, and it customary to keep good community spirits by speaking to each other in a civilised manner, which I find highly offensive that yourself and others do not.

It is not big or clever to try and belittle someone, just because you may be older or have more experience with the model of vehicle than someone else. Nor will it be accepted, especially by myself. You should be treating everyone fairly and with respect, especially given that you have no knowlegde of who they are or what sort of person they are or what lifestyle the lead on a daily basis, nor is it any of your business.

If you can not find it in yourself to the the above as mentioned, then I strongly feel that you are not a contibutor of the community spirit and bring the overall tone of the otherwise friendly community down, which is unfair on others.
You should infact not be allowed to keep an account if you are incapable of showing basic respect or otherwise keeping your posts to a friendly manner which would infact encourage (not discourage) community growth and popularity.

Most people on here are genuine and genuinely nice. So please do not make accusations a out them which you can not follow up on.

If all you can think of on your spare time is how to demean and belittle other people's threads on a community post to make yourself feel bigger or better than yourself, then you must really be a very sad little person....

I have lots of friends and love them and treat them all with respect and basic friendliness. If I spoke to them in the same manner in which you address others, trying to put yourself above them, I am sure I would have no friends at all....

That is all I have to say pretty much.

Got much better things to do than to waste my time on you any more.

I do not need to share what I am doing with any of you on here, but I am doing what I can, and for the most part I am enjoying it, and I am glad that others are joining in too.

Really F**KS ME OFF THOUGH when people just can not keep their traps shut if they have nothing nice to say!

Thanks.

Ignore the pedantic and sarcastic comments
Most people are trying to be helpful
