Just a thought here.....

Anyone had any personal experience with fibreglass front wings?

Was thinking about getting some for ease of replacement from honeybourne mouldings...

Just wanted opinions .etc....

They make them nice and strong, double layered with additional reinforcing at fixing points.

Nice and Shiny!!!!!

Got stung £70.00!!! For import tax though!!!!

Supposed to come from germany!!

Ended up getting sent from the states!

Blimmee!!!!

Been away for a week and missed nearly 80 new posted. By the time I read them there will probably be another 80. Is there a condensed version or could someone quickly bring me up to date. Is the car finished yet?

Should be done in about 3 weeks,he is doing well and has admittedly made a few cock ups regardin getting bits, think most of us have been there, best thread for ages, nice and lively

Yes! Very shiny:eek:.
You are buying some really cool stuff.
Shame about the duty but you dont seem short of funds so onwards and upwards:thumbs:

Buy buy buy!!!

Hahaha.....

If only you knew the half of it!!!

Expecting to have it done around Christmas time!!! Hopefully sooner!

Want everything done right, so yes, lots of shiny bits!!

Going to be worth the money I have spent on it at the end of the day, so worth giving it 100%...

Got a few little plans for the interior too to give it a personal touch (not taking it away from standard though).

Also, whoever wanted pics of the interior, here they are:

Sorry no pics of back seats as the car has a lot of stuff in at the moment.

And the car is all a bit dusty inside.... Wipes off though.

The carpets are lush....

TBH,when I saw this thread at first I was firmly in the 'do you have 'kin idea what you have got or are getting into' especially with the online 'attitude'. However I'm being won over, this looks like you are having a ball and it's 'only' an unloved estate.

Condensed 'someones bought a weirdly modded 2+2 that you couldn't make money from, was near breaking condition, wound up the forum elders, put in a ton of work, bought lots of stuff, not too bothered about what anyone thinks, made some outrageous claims about building 'best car' and seems to be having lots of fun playing with his Z'.

Haha.

Thanks.

Also.... Noooo noooooo nooooooo not doing it all outside.

And again... Yes, the shell is going to be completely stripped!!!!!

Also, my budget is to do all the work myself (except welding and spraying... I mean I am a good sprayer, but not concourse!), and to spend whatever needs to be spent on it to get it to the show car standard it deserves!

Oviously there is a limit, otherwise I would have bought an old lamborghini!

And yes, the postman is gay and I love him!!

The truth is, the postman is infact gay, but he is a lovely fellow!!! And I am very happy with my girlfriend who I have been with for nearly 5 years!!!

Also she is not nearly as happy as me, because I get to play withmy cars!!!

Hahahaha.
