Finally ready for the MoT today, passed with no problems! :driving:

Only to have the wipers stop working on the way home, always something. Still its all legal now.

Lovely car and now on the road - well done.

Wipers - did it rain then, that's sod's law isn't it but at least you were lucky they didn't pack-up before the MoT?

Beautiful work! The attention to detail is great and you're only 35 ish miles from me and Nospark.

Cheers fellas, it was great fun driving it again too. Rob it wasn't rain, but it fell from the sky none the less.
Madda, spotted that, could be grounds for a meet up at some point. I have family in Tredegar anyway.

If you take it for a spin to this side of the bridge before the first salting, give me a shout and it would be good to meet up.

Hi. I'm new to The Z Club and am (hopefully) about to become the proud owner of an '82 280ZX Targa that needs an almighty amount of work to return to the road. I've just read your thread and am feeling more inspired than ever to get my Z back on the road. You're restoration looks amazing, really high quality work. If mine looks half as good I'll be over the moon! All the best.

    Hiya Gantsta

Good luck with your resto. Feel free to get in touch if you need any assistance. Happy to help where I can, good to see another 280ZX being restored.

You also really need to look at Derrick’s car (candy red) his work is just awesome and the pictures are really good as reference.

    Hey Huw,

Car looks fantastic. Particularly enjoyed your close up engine shots, looks brilliant.

Massive amount of respect for the amount of work that has clearly gone into this!
