280Z 2 seater Ebay

Sgreed....Brown looks good

Rest of the floor/chassis looks exceptional

Obviously that rusted from inside out but very strange how it attacked it so hard

I've had a few genuine but not looked after Z's from CA and they've been remarkably rot free

Out of interest, what would be the best Z to import to make money.? Do you have any for sale?

I would imagine a 240z, black interior, red/orange, silver, white, blue exterior, no big bits of rot on the frame. No.

Looks like a car in good shape on the face of it but the paint seems to have had a recent-looking blowover, and the right rear quarter looks a little odd; there appears to be an indent above the arch but the arch itself looks ok, or just the light? And if the paint is recent then a bit worrying that rust is coming through the cowl already, makes you wonder if there's anything else hiding under it.

Not saying it's a rot box but would definitely not bid without seeing it first.

Change of paint colour (and some other stuff besides) - simples !

Agreed but all relative - one of those is going to cost you +$8000, add in all the other costs and it'll land here for £9k and it'll still need some serious mechanical upgrades just to bring it to standard euro spec - hard to see where the big profit is ?

Nissan sold more 280Zs than all other S30 put together (I believe) so still plent to choose from meaning the 'bargain' at the moment for someone wanting a 2 seater S30 - lose the bumpers and lower it - job done especially if it's one that comes with a 5spd box.

S30s frequently rot at the end of the chassis rail but yes, iot has gone significantly worse than anywhere else....but not structural.

The 280Z I had was the same .they get damaged and water gets trapped inside.
I ended up replacing both chassis rails that ran under the floor

not...the end of the world than and still a car to consider at the right price ?

Fairly easy to fix.remove rusty part and then fit an oversized channel section to the remains of the sides of the chassis rails

Probably sold then !

280Z perfect in dark green/tan int, auto box but sold with a 5spd box alongside, deep front spoiler and Minlight-style wheels and on French (euro) papers and plates :£10350
