This may be a good base and I'm not knocking it but it just drives home that when people 'mess' with cars they need to know what they are doing.

Nearly everything done to this car has made it worth less in my opinion.

I like the fact that there's a lot of air between the rear wheel and arch.
It reassures me that my rear arch is in the right place

Oh c'mon - loads of people were doing this in the '80s and afterwards :

the plastic sun-roofs of course
fog lights at the front and ugly jobbies hanging off the rear bumpers.....
MkIV escort plastic door mirrors
blacked-out window trim
seat covers

in fact, anything Halfords sold - we felt compelled to buy and fit !

But mst of us have removed them now...........or those cars have melted - this is the original Malboro mans' car !
