the next picture makes me remember the first time that I saw a 240z, 12 years ago. I had the same sensation when i saw it today covered of dust, seem that it asks for to run it and leading to the road!

HI

Sean the dash is the new one, and I had to cut the hole for the hazard warning switch light. The 1971 240z had this placed like that, the 1972 had the cigarrette lighter also in the dash. but mine is like shown in the picture.

Thank You

Hi

No, that clock is for the 260 Fairlady Z, a JDM clock that was available between 74-78 years (I guess). After a good cleaning and electrical changes it works and looks like new!
I would like to have the 2 knobs rallly clock, but they are rare and they need the oscilator box so they can work...
But still looking for it...

Next work:

Install the front hood, vinyl tunel, dashboard and seats, them turn the key :)

Bravo!

I reviewed your pics..Again Bravo!

Are you the fellow who had info on the Works wheels? I too am currently building a 240Z. I just finished paint on a replica 1971 East African Safari #11.

I would be happy to find just one of the 14x7J works wheel used on the car I am replicating to either have a casting made or to have it mapped on a coordinate measuring machine and cut from aluminum. I would be even happier to buy a set of those wheels. I understand Portugal was a country which received an inordinate number of the magnesium street wheels...? I would be happy to substitute the street wheels if I could even find them. Please tell me you are the right guy!

Starting doind the interior of the car, and the dash was the hard part, it`s new so, a little here a little there... take it out... again put in place a little here a little there... after 5 or 6 times, all the bolts in place and very firm. :)

Andrew

Hi

I found it at Nissan Portugal, also if I order another they can supply it. I ask that a few weeks ago for a friend.

But at Zstore in USA, they are still available too and in this plasce for RHD cars just like yours.
See the link

http://www.new-datsun-parts.com/datsun-240Z-parts-interior1.html

this guy sold me some stuff for my car. Some of the prices are very high, but he has the parts.

Hi Everybody

The car is already done, still there is always something to make it better or better looking.

I think the car is a little high them normal, I also have the Eiback springs to change if I want to, but for now i will run it, because it was almost 2 years that i couldn`t drive it.

The last picture was taken on Sunday with the previous onwer that sold the car 5 years ago. He said that the car looks beautifull.

If someone ask me if I was able to do it it again, i would say no, it`s too much work and concerns about it.
