Dave - I look forward to thrashing you mate !

Filipe,

I sent you a couple of emails - I was worried when you didn't answer them that things were bad for you - normally we have had a concentrated exchange....can you email me back with any info requested in the emails ?

Glad that the deal was cancelled - it would have been like selling your soul and I bet your wife's relieved too ! I hope you don't regret the green.

Sorry if I am telling Granny about eggs but if you open the page above, highlight and cut the URL, then paste it into the google search engine it will find the site. At the side of the site name their will be an option to "translate this page" - bingo, Portugese to English, MUCH more interesting and readable :D

Fantastic attention to detail Filipe, a real inspiration to those of us half way through collecting parts and getting the job done

Filipe, that car will be better than when it left the factory, well done, in my opinion you made the right choice about the color, putting so much work in that car and then paint it in a color thats not original for the car is after my opinion insane.
I'm looking forward to see your progress.
Chris

Does anyone have a decent airbox they can help Filipe with - all of mine have been a bit on the bent side and not really good enough for this top quality restoration.

240z Resto

Wow! Beautiful!

(It would make a wonderful 250GTO!) ;)

How often do you get to work on it?

HI

I work on the car, may be 2 a 3 days for week, but only my share of it. The mechanic and the paint man, has to do they own work.

The rest is with me.

Hi Felipe, your car looks amazing! I had my datsun 240z restored in Portugal aswell, in Viseu. Where abouts are you doing yours? it was a lengthy process but they did a good job.

Hey Joe (No Hendrix pun intended)....

I have heard tell of a UK car that had a full leather trim including dashboard over in Portugal, wouldn't be you by any chance ? I hear the trim was awesome quality and sensibly priced - trying to find out where it was done.

Cheers Andy

Sorry to hijack Filipe - your car looks fantastic, THAT is the way to do a restoration, hats off to you.

I did get full leather trim inc. dashboard done in Portugal, so it could be me. I will put pictures up, as soon as I figure out how to.
