Oh wow!!! I want it. Oh for a second garage!!!

Looking at the car I've just had a brilliant idea for someone travelling abroad a lot - dual controls and steering wheels for sitting on either side. ;)

Assuming they have restored it to the condition it’s currently in, it would have been nice to see the state of it prior to paint.

Theres a picture of it in blue added - only an under-bonnet shot .

Blurb says it was painted blue in the 80's - so assume the conversion was done 30+ years ago?

I wonder why the decision was made to leave the LH side of the bulkhead as it was?

I think whilst the car is stripped down I'd want to sort that.

I think I probably would too .

I dont think it would put me off it too much bearing in mind it needs putting together - but id use it to drive the price down a bit .............................

if you look on the firewall, you can see the factory pressing for when it was a lhd car, for the brake servo etc etc. its just been mirrored to create a rhd setup. to me, that shows a lack of care or detail.

Car now sold; work done by a Datsun specialist in south east so he tells me

I’ve seen Fourways cars (and others) with the LHD bulkhead plate still in place after a RHD conversion. It’s not that uncommon tbh.

It’s too much in my view (I seem to say that about every one on ebay)! It’s also on FB. Seats need redoing apparently.

Ah sorry, that is the FB ad and it’s not on Ebay ...
