So most likely in the new year I'll be selling the engine, box, exhaust and 6 branch manifold. So i can install my 2.1 SR20DET and 6 speed box.

Great choice. With 400+ brake and significant weight advantage over the RB, the SR when mounted as far back as possible will significantly improve the handling ...

The haters will be coming along shortly to shoot you down.:p A 4 cylinder s30, how dare you

would you have to set the car up for the re-positioning of the engine from a handling point of view? With it weighing less, being located further back?

I very much doubt it. Who cares these days?

Nobody gives a monkeys about what powertrain gets chosen. What counts is how well it is planned and executed, and whether it will work as a coordinated package.

Might’ve had a sniff at that if I could shift my Z4 obviously at the right price but only got garage space for 3 cars atm Chuck 10 k at it to get it how I would like it then it’ll probably be worth good money,

Current asking price - as far as I am aware - is 27k GBP. Chuck another 10k at it, and you'll be at 37k - right?

How much would it be worth then?

If you were going to spend another 10k on it, I think you'd want to get about 10k off the asking price first...

That’s wot I meant Alan I wouldn’t pay the asking price hence the comments on here, maybe the guy thinks they are worth more than they really are after seeing others advertised for stupid money,I would personally change the colour sort the interior out and sort the engine / box out so in reality probably more than I quoted but we all know we end up spending more on em don’t we,without seeing it I reckon 23-24 k wold be reasonable but as you say how much would the value be when finnished

Who pays the asking price for any car these days? What people are asking for and what they actually sell for are two different things. I wouldn't change the colour on this car - I'm sure it's fine in the flesh. It's the interior and the detail that holds it back for me (like many). But many buyers are different and don't care as much about the small details.

True, interior is 2k in was booked in and the trim is here. I'm just not a trim fitting kinda guy.

Agreed, and all valid point. Its over priced, needs finishing and I really don't want to sell it.

Hence the asking price.
