Always looking for rare and unique Zed parts over the years.

One of those was a Rally clock that could be ordered for early 240z's through 280z's. I have been searching for about 10 years for a Rally clock and finally was able to buy one from a friend who had to sell. Mine is the early 2-knob model with oscillator and tuning fork.

This is one of my favourite parts on my car. Only ever seen one other for sale.
The camshaft cover is plastic and weighs half a kilo less than the standard alloy version .

Not mine anymore, but this was my favorite Z part purchase. Genuine Nismo 10th anniversary Compe steering wheel. Bought from Yahoo Japan and as the old Stella Artois advert used to say re-assuringly expensive. Small diameter and thicker rim made the car feel far sportier than it did with the old 240Z wheel that was on the car.

All part of the 'go-faster' appeal of flash paint-jobs, loud exhausts and bucket seats.:)

Tempted by a rally clock but what's the point with a circuit-breaker fitted - it'll never tell the right time so in goes a real-time gas-analyser gauge.

The Link says that they are useless without the control box. Ever the tinkerer, I bet I could make one with modern electronics!

I was told that there is a person out there who converts the box to modern electronics so there is some reliability added.

It's already been done. What you can't replicate is the lovely warm sound they emit and the comforting aroma of hot late 60s vintage electrickery...

Like a Skalextric controller after an hour or so of slamming the cars into various pieces of furniture? Just cant go round corners fast!
