I have family, friends, and contacts in California if anyone is serious about this. My sister lives out in Palmdale which is probably very close to where these are stored. If someone actualy imports these you can put me down for two!

sounds too good to be true, comes to mind.if they have not got the log book for each car then they can not be shipped abroad and it depends on the condition of each car and shipping will not be cheap as Duncan mentioned

Importing 24 240s into the UK would increase the 'population' by about 10% - do we want that?

Bit of a dream really but interesting Jonathan.

I bet there are some rusty and damaged cars amongst them, but if Mark went over to see his relations he could report back :thumbs:

Best bet would be to get Californian Connections to import them and then for us to go and negotiate about individual cars. More expensive yes but far less risk and hassle.

Not the best bet Rob - the better cars are coming in via William Galliers....ask him to get them !

Bit of a brave move that would be, Sean - I calculate that, at the best possible deal on Shipping, he would have to lay out nearly £50k to buy & ship them over here, including Duty, VAT, etc.

VAT over here is only 5.5% on classic cars and sold over here where LHD are worth more and need less 'converting' ;) for at least £4000 would double yer money.:D
