What to buy? 240/260/280

Very nice  Have fun :driving:

Hopefully meet you and the car at Silverstone Japfest or Donington Samuri Gathering.

What does she smell like when you get in and sit ?

good question. Not as smelly as i'd like to be honest, i guess because its a bit new and stored with all the windows open and airflow through the car. However, it does contain that vague dusty leather scent with hues of cricket bats and what i can only describe as aircraft seat belts. Plus the delicate undertones of burnt fuel and some boxes which I stored in the loft.

I hope this explanation is to your taste sir :driving:

Like opening a bottle of fine wine, gently pouring said into a decanter and almost watching the aromas rise to tease the nose then raising the glass and beging enfused with a slightly more delicate melange of fragrant perfume.....yes - thanks.

Congrats mate :) Nice to see that the car got into another good hands, and this time it will get used as it should ;) Oh - this is my first post here also, lol, so Hi to everyone :)

Hey Romas! Welcome and thanks again for all you dedication to the car.

Haaaa -

I think I recognise Romas from his Facebook postings ... fantastic work going on at his place which looks to be producing some great cars.

Just looked through the build pictures and all I can say is wow. This surely must be the best 280z in the country. I don't know what you paid for the car but I would still bet its worth every penny.

OK.... so, it begins..

First problem sadly today - i lost 5th gear.. and reverse. Which was highly embarrassing having 3 BMW employees push me out of a parking space!

Spoke to the builder and he is being super helpful, but it its going to need looking at by a pro. He's offered up suggestions and has ideas of the issue - i wont go into it here as its probably best on the transmission part of the forum.

So who/what/where/how/ - i need a Z craftsman near me (Guildford area). Its actually probably good to start a relationship with someone nearby anyway, its just dark and sad that its so soon.
Please can someone recommend a top guy (or indeed girl in this equal rights age) to help me and be the doctor to my sick loved one..?
Im likely going to get a fully restored box sent to me, so its just a case of fitting it.. (please dont say its easy and i can do it.. im a total knob)

Peace.

It's not rocket science on a Z, any competent garage can do this.
