Sean, I am looking at being there for the week. Most likely meet up with you guys in the evening when you return to the campsite or something.

I'm not entirely sure yet Suzy. What I plan on doing is spending 2 or 3 days with you guys and then driving up to a place near LeMans as I have friends there (Mortagne au Perche).
 
Just found out about a new French tax!!
Taxe de Sejour
This is a new holiday tax imposed by the French Gov of 0.2 euros per person per night.
This will be payable at the campsite upon arrival.

If there is no-one else, I will book the Saturday night tickets based on these numbers - anyone else had better let me know quick-like or risk to be VERY disappointed when they turn up and the show is sold out !

Tickets are just €23 per adult and you will get your moneys' worth !

If you're not sure, book a ticket anyway and maybe I can sell it on !

Let me know ASAP (which means in the next two days) !

following Suzy's invitation, we decided to try and include this weekend into the European trip/350Z meet we are trying to organise with other european clubs.

So we would like to tag along for the weekend then bugger off to Spa and the Ring to meet the Italian, Swiss and hopefully German 350Z owners

Sean, would you book 2 extra tickets for myself and gf please for the Saturday? Will post this up on my site too to see who's interested :)

I can't get the Thursday off so will have to travel down on the friday 8th.

Piece of cake, just choose the crossing carefully, allow yourself some rest - why not take the 23:00 LDlines crossing from Portsmouth on Thursday night......? Manchester to Portsmouth - 4hrs, means leaving at 18:00 !

Or day boat via Portsmouth on the Friday or SpeedFerries from Dover to Boulogne then Roeun then Alençon then Le Mans then towards Angers/Nantes and off at Chemillé / Vihiers et voila (5 hrs)
