I must add, I'm not arguing for or against anything, just interested in people's views so I can make an informed choice as to what to do.
All comments welcome.
I looked at that yesterday Steve. Good info and probably the way to go but I would like to keep the flashing reds if it was allowed, not just if I could get away with it. I do have a couple of spare uk rear lights but would like to keep a US car looking like a US car.
Is this what you do with yours?
He won't - dead men tell no tales.wrong answer...... what will the motorcycle rider say to the policeman when he has worn out his leathers saying the car changed lane without indicating
Were old 'vettes ever sold here with orange indicators? If not that may be our problem Zs were and so the assumption is that lights are easily changed.
Put a USA sticker on it John to warn following motorists (helps with awareness of LHD too).
Terry I understand your point fully re motorcyclist but perhaps the law enforcers ought to consider the issue in the context of a 'risk assessment' i.e. how many are on the road, how often are they driven and how likely is a collision as a consequence. The greater risk is cars with 'blown' bulbs, drivers not even using their indicators etc etc.
Of course I realise too that a law is a law.
Oh dear not allowed to have 2 indicators on each side to the front but you can have 2 on the back on each side.... sorry
