Just as an aside to the recent 2x posts simultaneously posted in relation to the clips:

I'm no expert on the material engineering of plastics and the way they work but, couldn't this part be easily reproduced with a 3D printer? If so, I don't know why it hasn't been done before..

At a guess cost and time really, there are many off the shelf options already available. Most would settle for those, the purists would then be able to get them still from Nissan as has been posted previously.
