Too much power??

Value for money (as club cars are for the masses) and as you stated that Warby had brake fade !

In your opinion, what am I going to say to be fitted to S30s (but won't for fear of being accused of cheap publicity) ;) ?

Anyway stop being rude, you havent replied to 240Z's comment on your post Come on I am interested to see if its Brembo, AP, Tar-Ox, Hi Spec or what else could there possibly be, seeing as I dont know anything about circuit cars:rolleyes: maybe you could tell us.

I cant coment on car brakes too much but i do know that AP and Brembo do make bloody good brakes for bikes, I assume they are the same for cars?

Have to ask someone who was there :D AND look up on the HSSCC website for the fastest Roadsports Z laptime !

Hmmm google has no results nor does the HSCC website, anyone here know what kind of times were achieved?

They are ! And are they ok for S30s too ?

Bugger - won't work so, best 240Z lap in the 2005 Castle Coombe race was 1.20.913 from Charles Barter !

I was doing fairly consistent 1:30's improving slightly with each lap, ending with a best of 1:28 and were giving it absolutely everything we had (120mph at the Avon rise enough for you) and whilst the car isn’t particularly well set up for the track, we still had considerable better power to weight ratio, track day tyre's, competition brakes and expert tuition --- in total we took out about 6 cars, including Chunk, Geoff Gale, Nitrous Nick and Warby the Loon who are pretty damn quick drivers, get this though Rob was putting in 1:25's I couldn’t even see him never mind overtake him--- bloody good job he can't drag race.

Hence my statement that the best S30s at Japfest were 5 seconds off the pace !

No offecne to the guys there, on the day in road cars but let a Z33 get close to that

Thats the only one you could pick wasnt it -- its the only time France ever won anything of value, plus it goes to show how arty farty the French are, they recorded it on -- Tapestry not stone or metal or parchment made from human skin but girly tapestry.

lasted though didn't it which is more than can be said for henryIIs kingdom over here, even after 100 years !

They did the same thing with tapestry to mark your return in June 1944 - the only difference being the Yanks were kicked out of here - the UK's become the latest US Stae (so says all of france anyways....) - keep flying them flags - they might convince you ;) !

My brothers old 205 did 1.16.947 and that was with road tyres

Errrm, are you sure you're talking about the same track ? Do you really believe that a 205 (are we talking standard here ?) on road tyres would be quicker than a race going 240Z by 4 seconds a lap ? Something VERY wrong here !

LOL no he didn't, I thought the Z being a fairly light car would do better with a good driver. look under Castle combe Tim Hanlon and you will see his times, that was a good little car. New one will be much better though

Did he have 500bhp? I still don't believe it :) The 1.9gti isn't that special...? I know the 205 is light, but it's not 300kg :D And its FWD...

I'm selling my 240, £50 or will p/ex for 205 GTi.

I'm gonna need at least 400bhp now to keep up with bloody 205s! Gutted.
