Spa road trip

Look forward to seeing some videos.

John, could you not have kept it lit for another second and finished at 160mph? Just to round it up.

Great video. Impressive smooth driving James - you were trying!

The car sounds lovely and holds the road well.

Your passenger was unnervingly speech-less and the camera was a strange viewpoint.

Lots of modern and expensive cars on track - I enjoyed the bit in the middle where the Porsche driver left his braking too late trying to fend you off.

Not many spectators this year by the look of it. Were there good entries in the races - hope it's not losing popularity.

Well done.

I'll have to check the video Ian. I was too busy looking at the road to see the speed but quickly glanced down and saw 159. It may be faster. I'm haveing trouble with one of the sd cards for the gopro at the moment as it wont let me copy the video's off. Sometimes it says card needs formating, and the it with show the directories and video's but says file corrupt. Gutted if I've got no vids of the weekend.

That would be a pity John, I am so impressed with your driving that would love to see it again - even though a lot of noises came out my mouth with no control at all... which probably spoils the audio entirely :D

With the blue flashing light on top that he chased down and stuck with - yes. White arm comes out at Rivage.

Was only there for the Sunday but what an amazing event! The sheer variety of cars was awesome and the sound from the track was epic!

My dashcam overwrote my track session on Sunday :( accidentally left it plugged in whilst it was parked up afterwards, so gutted.. My mate took a few videos on his phone as we went around though luckily!

Saw the 'green machine' pass me a couple of times during the session, once whilst chasing right behind that blue GTR

I have to admit it was the most hectic track session though, no briefing at all. People didn't know where to pull over to let the faster cars pass and the pace/safety cars were some of the most dangerous on the track, especially the 458's..

Sorry if I didn't speak to anybody, said hi to Sylvain but a few of you were pretty busy fixing/tweaking one of the 240's engines lol

Yep, great fun until something nasty happens. I thought that the two times I've been. Also on a 'proper' trackday you could 'flow' better.

However having said all that it does add a lot to the event for Club members.

From my experience the Le Mans Classic is even worse for speed differential and bunching of cars etc.

So everyone messed up their filming then. :smash:

Matt, come on tell us how you and the car went.

Agreed - more cars, less track (it seems), slower track by far and some real divs at the wheels.

Best to do for having said 'done that once in my life, got the film, did my fastest on The Straight or down to Indianapolis....'
