Shipping cars to the USA advice

Hi all, is anyone here knowledgeable about shipping cars to the states in containers? I really need some advice and hopefully contact to get a mk 2 escort across to a cousin on the west coast.

Hi Ben,

A few of us have used Kevin Hill shipping. They will sort out the entire journey door to door for you. They are partners with various US shipping companies such as West Coast Shipping. It cost me £2.5k to get my Z from California to Manchester, but that includes £570 UK import tax. Not sure what the rules are going the other way but Kevin will tell you.

Thanks for that. As a matter of interest how long ago was that and was it container or roro?
