Prototype Bulkhead Panel

I would like ask the same also, how do you deal with the vin stamped area ?

Stamp the old vin back on the new panel

If you have all the paperwork you could show its legit n not a ringer

btw, Messaged you gwyn but your inbox is full

This particular Z is haveing its original vin number restamped on the new panel ( US number )

U could cut out a portion of the old bulk head where the number is and weld it in to the new one, a bit more work, but doable

As we know there are many import cars around with uk id's, so we tend to call them ringers, the bit I do not understand is whether you are welding or stamping the number in the panel how do you prove that the number belongs to that actual bodyshell that it has been put into ?

I don't have to prove it, I`me just the guy who supply`s or fits this panel , I guess its down to the owner of the Z to prove that the number on the new panel is legit

A question I feel I must ask - do you intend to make any other body panels or kits in the future? :)

Just had a look at your picture in the gallery and it looks really good, spot welder would be handy across the top section

There is a possibility we may produce panels or kits for other cars ( you never know )
As you say moggy240 a spot welder would be nice , I`ll keep saving my penny`s up
gonna plug weld this one from the rear, I`ll put pictures up to show how this one`s been done but I do know what you mean

Bulkhead Panel
