Project Rolling Death (Jakyll) RB30-240Z

Great to see that you stuck with it.
There are a couple of lads on here that have experience of there kit. I'm sure they will be along to comment.
I have seen the rear arms they do. Excellent quality but perhaps a bit to heavy weight for my taste but, I don't know how much horsepower you will be running so perhaps ideal for your situation.

Hi Ross, Hows it going? Got shot of your R34 then? Welcome to the world of rust! Ive just got a 280ZX 2 seater,
Cheers,
Scott.

Ended up breaking her for parts, which was heartbreaking after the years of work I put into her, but needed to get rid to pay off all my debts. So dug myself and ready to start the digging again :D

My 33's in dry storage, Considering its glass out repaint and low mileage its worth much more to me than the pitiful amounts of money 33's are going for at the moment, I'm going to sit on it for a while and see how things go, Its only a year off being able to go on a classic ins policy.

A quick update pic

I know the front end will not be to most people taste, but the way I see it we haven't ruined a 240z, more like save it from the scrap yard. Front end was too far gone to econimically salvage and this setup will allow for S13/14 front setup and easier for us to shoe horn in the 30. The pics I've seen on here with the 26 always had me stressing with space issues.

Lots of room even with a RB26 in the S30 engine bay

So RB30 with a big single turbo ?

I've been reading threads where people have been getting headaches from the other bits that need to be bolted to the engine.

Interesting build, I hope it goes well and she'll be on the road soon. Very keen to see how this progresses.

Parts are slowly coming together:

Rear arches coming in from US.

Lexan windows en route from Plastics4Performance

Carbon spoiler, front splitter and rear light surround inbound from the states again Zstore this time.

Lense covers coming in as well. Still struggling to find if anyone does carbon headlight pods/inspection hatches and front cowl, seems those that have done them in the past have ceased production.

Motec dash should be here too aswell.

Seat should be here next week:

Hoping to get the roof from Craig (FRP) in a few weeks/months depending on climate up there.

Still waiting on Techno Toy Tuning to get back to me reference the rear swap out package. Has anyone bought their package from on here?

Need to find:
Heated winscreen
Carbon bonnet (good quality)
Carbon hatch (good quality)
Rear diff/props.

Big work going into this. Thats a serious brake setup there!

Can't you get a carbon bonnet from Craig?
