Looks like a pretty hardcore build! The colour scheme you posted earlier reminds me of the Zonda R - so cool :D are you looking to paint over / wrap a lot of the carbon fibre parts or leave it showing?

The non carbon bits (front wide wings etc) will be carbon wrapped with alot of JPS style graphics over the car.

A quick update, shell back home after a few saga's.
Set about sorting out the shell again, garage had her for a year so surface rust built up. A few days of elbow grease and we are back to something salvagable....hopefully.

Good to see some progress. You need to get at least a coat of primer on the solid parts that you aren't planning on replacing.

Hopefully 4/6 week turnaround for the rollcage, welding and new roof. Then straight to the spray shop.

Hi Graham,

Procoatings UK did it for me. It was a task and a half as the cheap fibreglass dash was in a right state when I handed it to them, will pop up the work they put into it in a bit.

All in it was around £250 due to the prep work. I got the dash for around £70.

They will be doing a few more things for me soon, badges and engine bay bits.

They are knocking off 10% if you use "SupercarSiege" in your correspondence with them .

Id get it blasted all over once you've finished sorting it out, it'll save no end of time and ensure all the surface rust is gone. Not to mention it'll create a great key to paint onto.

Great, thanks for the info

Great thread, really glad I spotted it.

Do you have a target date for it to be on the road? I don't say 'complete' as they never are.

Best of luck :)

I saw you post up a screen amongst a few other parts.

Whats gone wrong? This is a real shame, you should carry on!

Let me know how much you want for the shell, I may be interested.

Major issue and stall point was the roll cage. Once it was done badly the project stalled, dealt with 2 companies after that who where supposed to rectify the issues but both of them where not what you would call professional.
Currently cage cut out awaiting new one. Replacement sills tagged on. Space frame is set for Nissan S13 front end and RB26/RB30 engine.
Arch repair panels cut out but still have them.

Have someone coming over to view the shell this weekend.
