Well FD i would start by removing as much of the pipes and bits around the engine bay then spend a day rubbing it all down then prime and paint ,i guess u could use spray cans as this wuuld give better access to the difficult areasHi there, superb job, stunning finish and great colour! I'm thinking of doing the same thing to my 240 without removing the engine and was wondering how you'd go about painting the engine bay with the engine still in and still get a good finish...any thoughts...? Cheers fd.

The wheels are 9.5 x17s all round made by image, as for the offset im not sure as i got them off a bloke on e-bay, said they were on his MG, allthough i can tell u they sit just level with the arches (just legal) and about 10mm from the legs the tyres are toyo proxes 225/45/17 quite handy that as they are made in japan as is the car i think when all the bits are on the car will be lowered by an inch or soLooking good - what size wheel / tyre combo are you on ?
Thanks Martin glad u like. The paint i used was max mayor or something like that, 5l of base coat and 7 laquer all in 2k, i bought it about a year ago worried that i may not get it when i was ready to paint but the shops still tell me there allowed to sell any stock they have left very interestinggot to say looking very nice. iv just been in to TRI on the way home from work getting my paint list up for my 260 so its nice to see a good job being done gives inspiration to others did you use water based paint????? , keep up the good work
