Membership database shows you as being due for renewal.
Have you recently renewed your membership???

If you didn't include a bar of Mintcake with your application it will take a little longer to process:p

Oh my sides ;)

I did it online and by paypal so it did go red for a day or two, its only just now I noticed, is membership 15 quid a week :D

If you pay by pypal it automatically turns you red even though you will not be allocated a membership number but if the data base is updated before you membership is processed you will turn turn blue untill that is done
I will turn you red again manually that should last untill you are proccesed

you have been alocated membership number 472

Steve, something is going wrong here. I saw JK was black the other day (when he sent me a PM about something else) and turned him back to red.

People are not staying red - it's happened a few times.

Rob, Have you just added JK to member database?
I went to add him based on profile details and by the time I did he already had a record???

If you run the member database update before Paypal-payers have been added the database does not recognise them and turns them back to black.

Give me a ring if you get confused...

That is odd.
However, for the database to update correctly, the member needs to have their user name, member number and postcode correctly updated to their VB profile, otherwise the update will fail and turn the member back to black...

perhaps this is where the problem arises....?

100% correct
Although they can be turned red manually unless their profile shows thier postcode and membership number as soon as the databese is uploaded they will turn back blue
Note postcodes can only be seen by thespecific user and committee members for security reasons

When ever anyone says they have been turned back to blue I check the membership database to see if they have been allocated a number then go to the admin section and go to the specific usernames profile and enter both postcode if not there and also the numberallocated then back to the membership data base upgrade it and then they stay red
but if anyone new has paid by paypal whilst this is being done and not been processed they then turn blue again

hope that explains it

Ok guys, I'll keep an eye on it and see when issues arise. I think I have made the assumption that if I can turn them red by giving them Z Club Member status that the Postcode and Member Number are correct.

Martin W and Ben240 both recently renewed via PayPal, went red at first but didn't stay red, reverted to Website Member.

Also KPatterson was going red/black frequently and his username reverting to K-ron even though it had been updated to KPatterson on the Database.
