Just spoke to Leon and after looking at the pictures he can do them for ~£500 in stainless. Would need a few order to make it worthwhile though. He can also do a nicely flowing 2-1 piece if anyone wants them too.

If you want to make it worthwhile - don't ignore the 'LHD' market.......

what is the price in mild steel please and the price of the 'Y' pipe - how long are you considering offering it ?

Hi

I would also be interested in a header (LHD)...

full spec for max HP... of course

;o)

Why does everyone want mild?!
Cost wise it won't be much cheaper as he doesn't carry mild so no volume discount on material.

I also can't see advantages of mild over stainless as doesn't one rot and one doesn't:confused:

Or is it the finish people don't like?
But I am a numpty on tech stuff

Well, in my case it was partially to see the price difference, but also because either way, I would be getting the finished piece ceramic coated inside and out (as per my current 6-1 manifold - very effective heat dissipation), which adds significant corrosion protection in the case of mild steel. There also seems to be some thermal advantages from what I can make out in terms of the combination of mild steel and such coatings over stainless. Persons with better technical knowledge might be able to comment?

But, either way, I register my interest in seeing where this topic goes... (especially since the s/h JDM header I sourced in Japan turned out to be damaged and not worth shipping over :() - unless anyone fancies that as an alterate template to the NISMO one...

same as richiep - mine is ceramic coated (works a treat) but if stainless was the only one available, I might still be interested in one or two.

No Steve, I was referring back to that that Guus referred to....the photos of the black manifold I posted.

Don't Fourways offer a stainless steel version?

All exhusts are stainless steel.

Prices as follows

6 branch manifold. fast road rally = £395.00
2 Box System = £315.00

Nismo Cory competion Rally Manifold S/Steel. £600.00

All prices plus VAT

This is what F'Ways said recently:-

"The nismo style exhust manifold is in s/steel.

I have just sold the last one from stock. There will probapbly be a price increase for the new batch if I have them made. Minimum order for me is 5 units."

Hi All,
Sorry for the late reply, been working away and stupidly busy.
Looks like stainless will be the only option on these.

Can anyone who is seriously interested please reply after this post and I'll see if we can get the ball rollling.

Need to know:
How many you would want
Primary diameter
Y-piece required?

For the y-piece, would guess best made to match up to the standard exhaust points? This part could be tailored quite easily anyway. Bear in mind these are hand made so any tailoring required can be catered for.

Cheers

I could be interested in a complete system for my L3.1 but it would have to be up to the standard of YS Garage or Kakimoto.

For the manifold I would be looking for an 6-3-2 with 45mm primaries leading into twin 2.5" merging into 3" just behind the gear box.

He will be able to do that for you. Do you want the manifold design as per the group buy nismo style? If not he can still do a one-off on the car.
Quality of his stuff is as good as anything you're likely to see. Most of his work is for pro race teams (chevron, SEAT WRC, amongst others) and cars equipped with his manifolds have won their classes at LeMans. All has 1 year warrenty with optional 3 year.
