Cant take mine on holiday,wont fit in me rucksack,as for seans comment on you middle age fat boys in their 280zxs,i allways thought that myself,cant take the bumps,cumto think of it im middle aged now,just dont look it,but wot do you expect from a rock god,(how does me hair look)280zx faster,your aving a laugh,anyone want to put it to the test,and yes i had a 280zx a right old borris.in fact i won the best Borris award when steve phillips was running our local group and,loved every minute of that car,even run it on denovos,

We're neither middle aged or fat but drive a 280zx maybe I should consider going on a reverse diet to make sure I fit into the proper classification.

No quite sure if there is more fat in the brain than on the belly with some people

As for cars not on the road, not every problem is straighforward to fix and not everybody has the knowledge to fix it themselves therefore waiting on help from an outside source (or club website, Mike you must be kept very busy).

Lets face it in this country who wants to take their car out when there's a lot of snow, the council is hardly good at clearing the roads out here. Then when they do get round to gritting the roads the salt kills the cars bodywork. If I did want to take the car out in them conditions I suppose I could take up rallying More money to fix it, more time off the road, think'll I'll just keep her tucked up for the winter months

Top speed of a 280Zx turbo is 129 mph and the snail like 240Z could only reach 125 mph these figures are not mine ut from various publications and are from stock cars

It gives me a laugh when I see the tracks of a snail in the morning in the road and it makes me think that a 240Z has driven past

remember its not me making it up but the figures regarding top speeds come from all the books writen on the Z/ZXs

Everybody, 280ZXs are not just driven by bloated teenagers - some of us have decided upon boosting our 240s to compensate for the weight of extra hair and egos and more specifically me - strings of onions and garlic hanging around my waist !

Rothon, have you never enjoyed a blast in the snow in a zed ? A lot of fun until they wake up and salt the roads !

I love sliding in the snow in my z,one time i got stuck,on a flat road,(it does snow heavy here) & as you know the tyres are not thin for snow, but made for tar,so its very easy to get it sideways for a long , my wife has banned me & bought me a slegde and said use the it, or the maxima (no fun , too much power on the FWD auto),
I can also understand people taking their cars of the road to protect it from the elements that would do damage & the gritter.

Dear Rock god of my dreams,

I can't give up onions and garlic until she does ! Anyway, over here the varietys' are supposed to increase virility and since I just tapped on the door of the big 40 (hasn't let me in yet as I'm 'only' 39), I'm sure it all helps. Seems to work well enough for Cathy !
It's easy to compare a turbo engined car of 1982 with a six block engineered in 1970 - they're like women - built for comfort or speed. You chooses 'em my precious ! I've chosen comfort and speed and I'll leave you all to define which is the car !
