I think 'racer' had one and said the same? Sad that a quick sports car from BMW is so uninvolving that's why classics are so good (but not for every journey perhaps):

Mine was a 135coupe E82. Six speed manual. Fast but boring as you say.
 
I meant the Beemer vs standard z. You can tune anything can't you. That being said, I always fancied a 1970s Mercedes SL with a AMG 55 engine in!

Something with style and occasion is what you need. everything else is just "white goods"

I've got a Z4M, 343bhp and the 240Z, as you can imagine both very different but both great cars too, I wouldn't say the ///M is uninvolving at all, we've got to remember there's 34 yrs difference between the two, technology and all that, infact my 240 doesn't feel anywhere near as fast as my old one did 30 yrs ago, maybe I've out on some weight :) :driving::thumbs:

Haha Paul! I'll pop down and do yours if you like :D my mates got a coupe and they're really nice but as I only use it now and again I wanted a Roadster :driving:
