Near mint 260Z

It's in the zclub classified - price reduced. I keep looking... and thinking... l can't, my wife would kill me if l bought another zed this year... but, it looks the biz

I know a certain bodywork specialist on this forum who was trying to get me to go for this car saying and I quote:

'It is in the best condition I have seen on an original car'

I have seen This car & it certainly is the most original & well preserved 260z,in
the U.K & as long as she stay's that way a good investment for the future.
The owner Chris is a great bloke as well & I think the Ebay Auction will
end on a high note. I would buy this car ,only I have a 260z already & have
spent vast amount's on mine(apart from the battery clamp)DJZ 60.

I don't think it will sell !
Looking at the current bid £5460 it is not that far of the £6500 that it was up for sale for in the classifieds here and with two odd days to go on the auction I feel that should get to the reserve and be sold

I must admit that this is the best original 260Z 2+2 that I have ever seen over the 18 odd years in the Z Club and who ever buys it will have a jewel of a car

Just wondering that Z/ZX prices seem to be determined by those of the 240Zs and as there are still 240s selling for 6-8000, anyone looking at a Z will pay less than a 240 for a 260, and (he quickly dons his armoured suit) especially if it's a 2+2 !
2 seater 260s are another thing !

RARER Than a 240Z,which although a throughbred is owned by the 'many'.
As the years roll on,as in other marques the fewer that are left determine the
overall value & not because another line or model demands a particular price.
Also bear in mind ALL Z's have been under valued & eventually prices WILL
go through the roof. Sod the press,or the valuation's in classic car's or such
magazines, they are are not realistic values. A car is worth what someone is
willing to pay for it. "I'm a legend!!!!!!!!! DJZ 60.

If you want a rare car than own a 280ZX, preferably a two seater ! A better drivers' car and the 2+2 is more comfortable and easier to maitain - face it, the 260 2+2 is THE poor cousin in the Z world !
Why do the many (150ish so still pretty exclusive) own 240Zs ? Because they couldn't get hold of decent 2+2s - yeah, right !

If i was a guy with a couple of young kids and was just getting into the Z scene and wanted to buy an Z/ZX I know which type I would go fo
It would have to be a 2+2 and as such it wouldn't matter to me how much a 2 seater first generation Z was going for

IMHO this 260Z 2+2 in the condition it is in is far better value at £6000/£8000 than 99% of any other Z (that includes the whole range) that has come up for sale in many a year

It is jem

Rollocks - if I was in the market for a 2+2 I'd go for a Z31 -that's the bargain AND comfort and you can get all the bitz !

FASHION ! follow the flock! Don't follow fashion...Make fashion.240Z is a classic a great car,280zx as you say comfortable,loaded with luxeries,as was
the renault 18. 2+2 260Z iz the ULTIMATE. DJZ 60.
Why'da think I havent sold it yet? I,ve had offer's.....coz it'z a dream.

Or Rollock's D.J & Steve but I have to admit it's better than any of my car'z.
DJZ 60.:D

face it DJ, no-one's gonna buy yours when there are such nice ones about !!!
I 've not seen it in the flesh but it looks great - just look at the steering wheel - none of that saggy tit feel that one usually gets !
I 'm not saying it's not worth more but more money buys one a more fashionable car that does have a reasonable sell-on value - those are the facts !
Steve, did you get my parecl in the post ?

never will admit that it is better value at that price and in that condition than almost all of 240Zs that to some has a god like image no matter of condition
